Mission and Activities:
The Outreach Team’s mission is to introduce the church to the surrounding community and to encourage people to become involved in the mission of Resurrection. RLC partners with other church committees and local community organizations to increase the visibility of the church in the surrounding area. Among other thing, it manages the church’s web site and partners with the Vacation Bible School to build a float for the St. Joseph 4th of July parade. Since 2012, the team has partnered with SonRise Lutheran, St. Joseph Catholic and Joe Town Table to organize a Holiday Community Meal. The meal is served at Resurrection, in Avon and also available for delivery or take-out.
