Kathy was born in Havre, Montana, but grew up in Chester, Montana. She was raised a Presbyterian. Kathy got her love of music from her mother, who served as church pianist, and from her father, who served as choir director. Kathy and her husband Tim moved to Minnesota from Oklahoma where they lived for 5 years and have been living in Minnesota since 1983. She loves to read, make beeswax candles and wine and especially spending time with her family. Her favorite joys at Resurrection are being in the church choir and being musically involved with the children.
Kathy has been a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church since 1989. She and her husband, Tim live just outside of St. Joseph on a 10 acre hobby farm, where her husband works with bees, chickens and a four acre vineyard. They have four grown children: Rachel (26), Heidi (24), Dan (23) and Nathan (22), who all live in the area. Tim & Kathy also have 3 beautiful grandchildren: Aiden - 3 ½, Grace-18 months and Genevieve - 15 months. Kathy has been Secretary at Resurrection Lutheran since 1997.
