Sunday Program
Adult education is offered Sundays between services from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. September through May in Pastor Linda's office. (No adult education on Wednesday nights.)
Last Fall, we studied the book of Galatians. During January and February we discussed the lives of Ruth, Samuel, David, and Elijah in the Old Testament. During March, 2010 we continued our study of the Old Testament with Gomer, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Job. All are welcome, no matter how much or how little you know about the Bible.
Bible Reading Groups
One group meets Tuesdays at 12:00 noon at Gruber’s café (across the street from Famous Dave's restaurant). Bring your bibles and a lunch or get something to eat at the cafe. We will meet and eat over the lunch hour. Everyone is welcome as we begin reading the Bible together and discussing the Scriptures as they impact our lives. Any questions, please contact Pastor Linda.
A second group meets on the third Tuesday of every month from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. at Arlington Place. The Bible Study for 2009-2010 focuses on the wisdom stories of Ruth, Daniel, and Esther. They will help us to think about our call to discipleship in today's busy world. Any questions, please visit with Pastor Linda.
A third group meets two Fridays of every month at 6:30 a.m. led by Pastor Dwaine at the church. Coffee, juice, and bagels are provided. We look at the Book of Faith readings for that week. Check the church Newsletter for the meeting dates for each month.
