Youth and Family Committee Annual Report for 2009
The Youth and Family Committee continues to organize and promote activities in support of the committee mission.
The Mission of Youth and Family Ministry at Resurrection Lutheran Church:
Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, building relationships,
and empowering youth and their families to live their lives in faith.
In 2009 we welcomed Sarah Lind as our new Youth and Family Coordinator in March. A change in employment for her husband forced Sarah to resign in August. Sandy Spiczka was hired as our new Youth and Family Coordinator in the fall. We are fortunate to have Sandy on staff and working with our committee.
The committee continues to work to offer fun events that provide families with opportunities to gather together in Christ, as well as fund-raising projects for mission trips. We encourage everyone to consider how they might make it a priority to fit these events into their family life.

The Committee wishes to thank everyone for their continued support and participation in youth and family projects and programs at Resurrection Lutheran Church. We especially wish to thank Susan Curtis for her many years of participation and support of the Youth and Family Committee and our activities.
