Worship Coordinator’s Annual Report for 2009– 8:30 a.m.
Thank you for your wonderful support of my position and your invaluable contributions to help make our worship services so meaningful. I continue to strive to select music that enhances the ministry of God’s word and sacrament. Your willingness to participate in different types of services from the ELW (traditional and blended), With One Voice (blended) and Now the Feast and Celebration (contemporary) is greatly appreciated.
It is wonderful that we have so many people who have willingly agreed to help lead songs, cantor Psalms, provide special vocal and instrumental music and serve in a variety of ways at Resurrection. Thank you for sharing your talents. Please offer your ideas for worship and music and know that we are always looking for ways to involve as many children and adults as possible.

Worship and Music Coordinator’s Report for 2009– 11:00 a.m., Sundays
and 6:15 p.m., Wednesdays
It is my job as worship coordinator at the second service to search through many songbooks and hymnals to find the music for each service that fits the scripture text, seasons or Sunday of the church year. Not only do we use the red ELW and the blue WOV hymnbooks found in the pews, but our congregation also holds several copyright licenses that allow us to copy words and music into the worship bulletin from many publishers of church music. Kathy Kuebelbeck does a great job preparing these bulletins each week! Thanks Kathy!
I am also indebted to my worship team who practices with me on Wednesday evenings to prepare the music for upcoming Sundays. With the team leading singing on Sunday mornings, it hopefully helps youlearn the music easier. Jeanie Wilkens, Lisa Wallin, Holly Bohlen, Michelle Lage, Kari Durheim, Dwaine Bruns and Amy Durheim have served on worship team during 2009. Additional members are always welcome – vocalist as well as instrumentalists. Let me know if you are interested.
Worship on Wednesdays, begun in September, also utilizes a worship team and the music is typically contemporary in nature. My thanks to these dedicated worship team members: Betsy Johnson Miller, Elise Miller, Carter and Morgan Kranz, Angela, Frank, Kari and Anna Haynes, Deanna Birk, Kathy Kuebelbeck and Dwaine Bruns. As stated previously, additional members are always welcome!
It has been a blessing for me to service another year as worship coordinator and pianist for the contemporary service at 11:00 a.m. as well as help plan for WoW! You, the congregation, make my job easier by being open to trying out new songs. Please know that if you have any suggestions, comments or ideas on worship here at RLC, you may talk to me or anyone on the Worship and Music Committee. Thanks you for your partnership.
